Weather in Corfu is hot and dry in the Summer with temperatures in August hovering at around 30°C and very little rain. The sea is warm too, and at 25°C, make for perfect family swimming conditions. For those looking to spend their days exploring, and after something a little quieter and cooler, Spring and Autumn are ideal, with temperatures up to 24°C in April and 28°C in September.
Due to the mountain ranges in Corfu, the island gets more rainfall than others, however, this mainly falls in Winter, where temperatures can still be 15°C in December and 9 hours of sunshine.
As the season’s change, along with the weather, you will see a change in the flora and fauna, with a huge array of beautiful, colourful and unusual tropical flowers and cactus, which fill the island as the temperatures rises.
